not the exact case, but my PS4 controller didn't work initially. What i did was starting the Big Picture mode first. Controller settings in Big Picture mode were set to Playstation Controller Support and "Forced (On)". Then i started the game and it worked. After that it also worked in normal Steam mode. Thanks a lot. I didn’t even bother trying doing it because it haven’t worked on other games (madden, fifa) but this game works fine. Ty

interesting. i have re done my keyboard and mouse keystrokes to fit my playstyle i have have a ps4 and controller ive hooked it up to play skater xl before but not any other games, that is cool to know the ds4 is natively supported, i have gotten use to my mouse and keyboard control scheme lol its kinda wierd, i have an amadextrous mouse so i have instead of just two thumb buttons on the left
I'll fixed it for me, try this out :) 1.uninstall Ds4. 2 disconect ps controller. 3. click on settings. 4. go into controller, general controller settings. 5. click on recover steam controller firmware. 6 toggle all off expect Guide Butten Focuses Steam. 7. conect you're ps controller. I hope this works.
Bought Jedi: Fallen Order for my son and his PS5 controller won’t work with it. Tried to Steam method (which works for all other games) but still no joy. I’ve read a lot of people have had issue with Origin and PS/Xbox controllers and have had to resort to software like ds4Windows…is that my only option or is there a way for it to work legit?
